After 5 years of obsessively searching for a 4" Triple Lock, I finally found two of them within a two week period. I don't really need two and, given I'm now spending 9 months each year in Kenya, I have more need for a Land Rover than guns that just sit in the safe. So I'm putting a couple of guns up for sale and hope I don't regret it too much.

This 4" New Century First Model Triple Lock, serial #5954, shipped
July 11, 1912 to Remington Arms Union Metallic Cartridge Company, Bridgeport, Connecticut. According to the factory letter, the gun "shipped with a 4" barrel, blue finish, forged round blade front sight, fixed rear sights, and checkered diamond square butt walnut grips with gold Smith & Wesson medallions." All numbers match but the grips bear no numbers. They fit perfectly and I tend to think they're the correct grips and the letter stating gold medallions is incorrect. Gun has its original factory finish but the barrel blue is fairly worn indicating it likely spent time in a holster. There are no markings on the grip frame and all serial numbers are correct and matching.

Price is $4,500 including insured shipping to C&R or FFL. All Forum rules apply.
