For offer I have a rather interesting Smith. This is a model 19-1 with a 6 inch Tapered barrel. Based on research done by forum member Doc44 it appears that this is the first documented 6 inch M19, as well as the only known 4 screw 6 inch, and only light barrel M19. This one sports a Baughman ramp sight as opposed to the patridge blade. Beautiful dark diamond target stocks. The barrel is serialized to the frame, the number being stamped inside the ejector rod housing. For the complete story on the revolver give me a PM and I will go into further detail.
The overall condition is very good. There are a some small marks on the underside of the trigger guard. Faint turn ring on the cylinder. Lockup is tight and action is smooth. No box or papers, but I will include a copy of the original sales receipt from Doc44. I have not fired the revolver since purchasing it. It's sat in the safe. I am a shooter, not a collector, therefore I feel it's best it goes to someone else's collection.
I will work on getting better quality pictures with my wife's camera and answer any questions needed.
$3000 shipped from my FFL to yours. I am also interested in partial trades for an earlier S&W M586 or 686 with a 4 inch barrel or a M65 with a 3 inch barrel. Not much else I'm interested in, but the worst I can say is no.
