I have another new in box S&W 442 UC that I am going to sell. This is not the other one I just sold, this is the first one I purchased that I had to send back to S&W for the dead night sight issue. S&W had the gun for almost 6 weeks and upon return back to me, the receipt/work order (pictured below) shows that they replaced the sight, repaired the yoke, replaced plate and yoke screws. I was unaware there was an issue with the yoke but they fixed what I did not see anyway.
Upon checking the gun, the newly replaced night sight was also dead. I called and had them send me a new sight and pin because I was not going to be sending it back and forth again. I have included a copy of the dated in April, 2024 work order so you know that this is exactly what happened. I am selling this gun because I am going back to my standard 442 and am selling this at a loss. I have not installed the new sight because it is not drilled and will need a 1/16 inch hole drilled in the XS sight so that it can be attached. The new sight they sent does in fact work like it should. The gun is in perfect, prestine shape other the the sight needing replaced by new owner
This will come just like it did from S&W, but I guess better now since the yoke was repaired. It has never been shot or carried and comes in the original box with the new XS sight and new cotter pin included for the new owner to put it on or have it installed. I am asking $600.00 shipped to your ffl for this since the sight has not been installed. My loss is the new owners gain. Will be shipped to your ffl from mine. I do not belong to any cash apps so a postal money order or personal check will work if you have been a good standing member. any questions, please let me know. The trigger is actually better on this one over the other one I just sold.
