Some Combat Masterpiece eye candy

What duty holsters were used with the Model 15s?

and what holsters have people personally found that fit well and accomodate the heavy barrel, and tall front sight?

So far I have found Don Hume's H738 "Tiger" for k-frame does not. The only Hume I'm aware of that definately will definately work was the H900 for Adjustable Sight" models.

Within the US military, there are two holsters that seemed to be commonly used by the Air Force.
GUU-1/P Holster ( Has retention strap and hangs from a web belt and swivel).

BO7-44Y, Holster with belt loop (Sam Brown) exposed trigger, retaining strap, and has a forward cant.

One of the few K38 Masterpieces carried by Army aviators in Vietnam. Typically we were issued 38 M&P's. The Air Force had most of the Masterpiece revolvers. This round butt is probably a snub nose.

1965 Model 15-2 living out its retirement from the street.
New grips. I didn't notice the glue until after I took the picture. ☺️ It's cleaned up now.
Now that I finally have one, I totally get why some officers didn't want to give them up for those newfangled Tupperware guns.

Thank you to whoever bumped this thread up, best thread i've seen on a gun forum in a long time.
There are some gorgeous guns in this thread.
I thought I had a decent collection, with a few M18's, M15's, an M67,
Nope, lol
I haven't seen any 15-8's posted yet, though.
Does that mean I have one the OP doesn't?!?

Anything Jordan as I recall. My Dad carried a Model 15 for years in a thumb break version of the Jordan.
