I haven't seen this stuff on the shelf for a while (even before COVID). At Sportsman's Warehouse for $11.99/box of 100. Two box limit but have been back a few times and it's still there (since Tuesday). My 41's love this stuff!

That's good ammo. My Ruger MKII likes it, Aquilla, not so much. I bought 5K about 2-3 years ago for about 0.08/rd. IIRC.

Still, that's not a bad price these days.

Before the plague, CCI-SV was selling for about $200.00 per case of 5000 delivered. I'm not fond of rebates, but that was with a $50.00 rebate.

For years, I've found this to be the best of the non-expensive ammo, especially if you're going to be using it in a wide variety of handguns and rifles, including semi-autos. It's much better ammo than the bulk stuff and the extra cost is well worth not having to deal with the misfires, inaccuracy, and unreliable functioning.

I was able to get 1000rnds direct from CCI in the last month by watching their website and ordering the max of 500rnds twice when it became available. $39.90 + tax/s/h for ~$50/500. It goes out of stock almost immediately and they just raised the price, but it's still probably the cheapest way to get it.

I've been using CCI-SV for a few years because it runs good in all my semi-autos, and is very quiet suppressed. Recently, I picked up a Tikka T1x, and the SV shoots really well out of it. I haven't been able to compare it to 'real' target ammo, because I haven't been able to get any!

Some CCI-SV targets out of my T1x:

I've found this to definitely be the best bang for the buck in 22LR. All my .22s love it. In my Ruger 77-22 with free-floated bbl. this round is capable of a 5-shot cloverleaf at 50 yds. Nothing else I've tried (and I don't even mess with the cheapo stuff) comes close.
