I'm thinking of selling my 12-2. No box, correct stocks, excellent condition.

I think it was a police trade in that never was issued.

What are the selling at these day?

Thanks

Ivan

Congrats, that's a beauty you have there. I haven't seen any 12's at LGS or gun shows for a long long time. Nice addition to your herd!

Great looking gun. I would not shoot many, if any, Plus P rounds thru it; too nice of a gun and fairly hard to find to take a chance on cracking the frame.

Something borrowed, something blue. A nice one for you.

Very nice one. I had one that was mint. I was afraid to carry it and mess up the finish. I was afraid to shoot it cuz of all the stuff I had heard about cracked forcing cones. I ended up selling it off. Really liked it over a J frame with 6 rds and a little more to hold on to.

Very nice, congrats. I picked one up last year love it, I'm sure you will too.

The Model 12 is a fantastic and, I think, underappreciated revolver. Carries very well IWB or in a shoulder holster. Carried a lot. Shot little. It's snappy because of the light weight. Well done. Yours looks like it's in excellent condition.

I have a couple blued / anodized in the carry rotation. Finish does not hold up well but not a real concern. The alloy frame does not rust. Here's a nickel 12-3 from 1981 or 1982. Like the grips on this one. Not carried often.

According to Wikipedia (and 3 grains of salt) the -2 version was made from 1962 - 1977.
