Soooo, how many of you are "Closet" Ruger guys....????

I've had a few; couple of GP100's, Sp101's, LC9, PC4, Mark II's and III's, 4" Redhawk .44 Mag., and such. I only have a couple at the moment; the 10-22 and the 22-45. I prefer L-Frames to the GP100's, J-Frames to the SP101's and 629's to the Redhawk. The Ruger's are good guns, but I prefer my Smiths. Whoops, almost forgot my retirement gun, the New Vaquero

I am down to a Ruger MKII these days. I sold my two Six-Series snubs and a Mini-30 about a year or so ago and my .357 Blackhawk about 20 years ago. Can't say that I miss them. Good, stout, well made guns. Just did not appeal to me any more.

No DA Rugers but...
3 10/22s
2 Super Blackhawks - Both .44 Mag
2 Blackhawks - .357 & .30 Carbine
1 Single Six Convertible
1 Standard Automatic
1 MkII Target
1 P85

I have a MkII target, and a stainless 10/22 carbine. Both first rate firearms in my opinion. The mark II is the least picky semi auto pistol I own. I swear if you made a round out of dirt it would chamber it at least

I would like a single shot rifle, but thus far the rifle and the cash have not been in the same place at the same time. Maybe someday.

My only Ruger; a Security Six with 6"barrel. It's been fired several thousand rounds, and been carried in that El Paso Saddlery Tom Threepersons holster for many miles. Most of the bluing on both sides of the barrel has been worn off. Hogue grips.

I have had a couple security sixes, a 357 Blackhawk and a 44 Blackhawk all long gone.

I still have a 22 Bearcat, a MKII 22, a Old Army

In rifles a Mini 14, a 77 in 223, a 77 rebarreled to 6mm Remington, a 77 in 25-06, a 77 in 300WM and a 77 in 338 WM

I was once tempted by a Redhawk in 480, but chose the 4" 28-2 with TT, TH and Target grips that was in the case beside it for lessmoney.

M77 in .270 Winchester, two 10/22's and a Mark II Target... Fully 60% of my 22lr's are from Ruger.

None are "in the closet": but they are in the gunsafe!

Cheers!

I cannot lie (often) but I do have a few...

10/22 VLEH
SR22 pistol (original short barrel)
Mk IV Target
Single-Six 4.6" barrel.

I think the OP probably meant Ruger handguns
But this is the Ruger I have

Jealous here... VERY jealous. :)

I can't believe I'm posting on an eight year-old thread, but what the heck. My 1974 Ruger Standard comes out of the closet a few times per year. After a factory rebuild (free!) by Ruger, it runs great. It's fun to shoot, accurate, and has a better trigger than any of my modern centerfire semi-autos.
