Sorting 357 Magnum brass?

Total waste of MY time with no measureable improvement to justify it.

Agree, with a caveat. If shooting for max accuracy, the number of times reloaded matters as to neck tension. So i keep 100rds segregated & just load those for my hunting ammo. When i shot met sil, out to 220yds, it matters. For general shooting, even out to 50yds, i'm fine using mixed brass.

What is a carry gun?

Note my State
The only people, in my state, who can carry protect politicians or money.

We can only defend ourselves in our home.

So all my guns are target guns.
My fault. Living in a free state, I just assume that all Americans are free. The tyranny under which you live is foreign to me.

Don't waste you time sorting and weighing and trimming pistol brass, especially shooting at 30 yards.

Have started rifle shooting and do not sort by weight. Rifle brass I will trim and try to keep seating within +/- .002 to keep single hole groups at 100 meters. Other than weighing each powder charge for the rifle, I am good to go.

For my pistols, with good flowing powders, I check each 5th charge weight and load away.

WOW. thanks for all the replies. There are a lot of methods and practices I had not thought of. So many knowledgeable members in one place makes this a great forum.

I always sort my brass. Why wouldn't you ??
