When I, we, were mere youths, the nation/world would be glued to the tv watching the space launches, and then the return splashdowns and recovery of the capsules in the Atlantic.
Seems ho hum to many nowadays, apparently.
Watching the launch and realizing there were four brave souls on board, put a knot in my throat.
