Spamalot

So, Snubby, is the play simply a re-make of the movie, or are there some new lines and jokes in it? Personally, I would go see it even if were a straight knock-off of the movie, but that's just me.

"Oh! I though you meant him! Rather daft me guarding him when he's a guard, eh?"

New lines, funny songs and visuals.

There's a lot of bits from the movie with some new stuff, songs and dance mixed in. It's still very Monty Pythonesque.

Follow. But! Follow only if ye be men of valor! For the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel, that no man yet has fought with it... and lived! BONES of full fifty men lie *strewn* about its lair! So! Brave knights! If you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth...

Saw it a few years ago, at that time John O'Hurley was in the touring company. Had the opportunity to meet him earlier in the day of that performance. The show was hysterical and Mr. O'Hurley was very nice and friendly.

I'd see it again in a heartbeat.

Watch the Mick Jagger video

Watch the video Bullet Bob put in post 27. It really is funny. And it's good to see that Jagger can laugh at himself.
