Speer 240 JSP for $.14

They are part of a giant conglomerate company.
Handloading supplies are a very small part of their business.
More than likely someone decided they had bigger fish to fry and we got left in the dust.
I still suspect the only bullets Speer is currently making are the ones that go in their ammo.
Remington has also been clearing the decks when it comes to components and some calibers of ammo.
Heck they have just about completely destroyed Marlin since acquiring them.
Guys like Hornady, Starline, and many other bullet makers are picking up the slack and expanding their offerings.
It's all part of the business cycle normal to capitalism.
I am going to try some of the Zero .431" bullets in the 444 for instance.
If someone was to offer LBT style bullets that are powder coated I would be all over that as well.
I do believe we are currently in a golden age for handloaders.
Never before have so many different powders been available.
You can usually get just about any bullet you want and brass is there but for the extremely rare and obscure calibers.
I don't think too many are really going to miss Speer for long.
