SPF - There is an interesting thread on this pistol on this forum, that gives a lot of information, (including additional images) and speculation about the possible history of this pistol:

I do not collect these, and know nothing about them. All numbers match, except the grips. $350 shipped, FFL to FFL (or C&R). First "I'll take it" in the thread gets to be the new owner. Thanks for looking.
