I bought this gun from a forum member a while back because I wanted to put some original Roper grips on it. The Ropers are pretty dark and I find myself not caring for the contrast & deciding to go with a blued gun instead.....
Anyway, the gun is fitted with a very nice set of unrelieved diamond target grips. The grips do have a small splinter in the back as shown in the pictures. This should be easy to fix with a little glue. The gun is as nice a pre-27 as I have ever seen. There is a similar gun (with a box) on a popular gun auction site (with a "Buy Now" price of $4,950) that has reached bids of $4,000+ without hitting the reserve.
My gun does not come with a box. Thought I'd offer it up here first for my investment of $2,350.00 shipped.
