Last time I was at my local range, I asked if I could bring my own spinner targets and they said sure. It has to be free-standing though.

I searched online and found some that are simple spinners and some are resetting targets.

So I wanted to see if anyone has some suggestions or experience with some good spinner targets.

I think it will be alot of fun, instead of just hitting paper. Thanks!

I don't care for spinners, but I do like resetting targets. Me and the guys at the club have tried a bunch for .22. Some expensive and some cheap. Of them all... these were the only ones to consistently work as they are supposed to, and they are the cheapest... go figure.

Didn't you post a Brownell product that was similar to "phil"'s jumping jack target?

edit: Wrong member, wrong store hehe:

i have had a few of these, they are my favorite so far. (bang for your buck)

i have a small spinner also, but its just not very sturdy. i just picked up a silhouette chicken, and a center fire spinner to try.

I was actually thinking about buying one like the resetting kind, but wasn't sure if other people on the range would think I'm just some big kid, even though I am!

our resetting target has spawned a few friendly competitions between other range patrons and our group of gun-loving peoples...its a good way to spend an afternoon!

they are a great idea!
no need to keep buying targets,
you know when you hit them (visual, and audio) even at a distance
and they dont need target stands( often made of wood and need constant repair or replacement)
all around a good buy even the more expensive ones will save you in the long run
