Sportsman's Guide store in St. Paul, MN

Can one of you guys down in the Cities answer a question for me? I seem to have heard that Sportsman's Guide closed all their retail stores. How about the store in St. Paul? Wasn't that their main shipping headquarters? We are heading down tomorrow morning to some motel with a water park -- going to meet relatives there, including our grandkids. Thought I'd run over there if I had time.

I've got a brother in ST. Paul and he said it's open - doesn't know if the street repair in the area has started or not, best to call and see if you have to come in the back way.

It is in South St Paul just north of 494 on the west side of the Wakota bridge over the Mississippi.

Thanks. I was hoping they'd keep that one open. I've been there before. I don't know the street names, but I seem to be able to find it every time. I might print out a google map, just in case. Already have a map to Track of the Wolf in Elk River -- I haven't been there before.

You may be thinking about the Sportsmans Warehouse. They closed nearly all their stores. I really miss the one in Aurora, CO where I visit a lot.

The easiest way to get there is to take the Hardman Ave. exit off of HWY 494 (The entrance to the retail outlet is off of Hardman).

So take that exit (coming from either direction), and then turn North on Hardman. You'll go through one stop sign, and then the entrance to the Sportsman's Guide store is on your left. There's a green sign to the north of the driveway. Turn into the area with the big white tank for parking. The hours are Tues.- Fri., 10 a.m to 6:30 p.m. and Sat. 9 a.m - 5 p.m., but catalog ordering closes a half-hour before the store itself closes.
