Squib with suppressor

I post this here because I am lumping it in to reloading.

I have never fired a firearm equipped with a suppressor I have also never experienced a squib nor have I ever been present when somebody else had a squib.
Based on reading how squibs go "poof" instead of bang I wonder how you would know the difference with a suppressor other then if you noticed the difference in the recoil.

Suppressors are not exactly “silent”. Depending on type, brand, caliber, they all have a distinctive sound signature to the shooter.
I’ve not experienced a true squib load in mine. But, variations in cartridge loading is noticeable. I think you could tell if a squib occurred. Especially if you weren’t wearing additional hearing protection.
