I got these elk stag grips off Gunbroker, and I had to show them off. They are mounted on our 1963 Model 15-2:

They are a lot thicker than the Gunbroker photo led the wife and I to believe - they feel great!

I've never owned stag grips before. Any words of wisdom as to keeping them nice?
Thanks!

I have stag gripps on my Springfield Armory Champion 1911 and I love them . So far they have taken care of them selfs . Only thing I can add is don't get any solvents or oils on the back side of the grips . The back side of the grip is porous so be carefull cleaning it .
Love the look of your 15 .

I wonder if I should wax (or something) to seal the back?

Wipe them down once or twice a year with baby oil. I receive this info. from the people at Eagle grips years ago. Hope this helps.
