Anyone got a recommendation for a chemical resistant, front sight paint?

What I've got in mind, is flat black for one of my stainless Mod 64's (bottom picture). The top pic is of a Mod 10, & how I envision doing it. Top sight serrations only - really makes that front sight stand out.

Thanks in advance!

A lot of people use nail polish as it comes off easy if you want to remove it.

A friend used to use that glow in the dark model paint available from the hobby shops. Like that stuff that used to be in wrist watch dials, shine a light and it glows like a night sight for 15 or 20 minutes. Re-apply as necessary. Night sights without modification to the revolver. Good show!

I use florescent yellow from hobby shop. 2 coats stand out well. Bob

I have 15 assorted shades of nail polish in my reloading area, visitors bearing curious looks are shown numerous stainless steel revolvers with their sights painted.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I prefer billious yellow.............on my handguns. ;)
