Starting a collection....

Welcome to the FORUM! Yes, that is a great start! (what else can I say?)
I have a 625JM in 45ACP, and a 25-15 in 45Colt. I would prefer older models, but enjoy both of them. Keep us posted with new additions. Bob

That's a very impressive start.

I've never been a "collector", just an acquirer.

After my pre-27, 57 & 58 arrive I'll be done and more than happy with what I have. .357s are my favorites.

I prefer barrel lengths around 6" but have a couple short ones too. The pre 27 is a 3 1/2". I'd prefer a 6" but I'll keep it anyway.

I have one .45 Long Colt, a 25-3 but its going too.

That is one fine start on a collection! The gentleman had excellent taste in revolvers. Do some research into "pinned and recessed" which all of yours are except for the 629-1.

That is a $4-5,000 collection right there.

...If it's not obvious I love the longer barrels. I reload and shoot a lot, the long 8 3/8 barrels are shooters and an absolute pleasure at the range!

I too love the long ones. Welcome to the forum and what a beautiful collection. I look forward to future photos as it grows.:):D

Again, thanks guys! I'm aware of pinned and recessed. The only reason I picked up the 629-1 is it was NITB with paperwork. I'm ashamed to say it is no longer New....I'm a shooter before a collector! This is a shooters collection, one that will be well cared for but enjoyed!
