Have a .44 mag Stealth coming in next week and looking for feedback on which weight, diameter, and style of cast bullets might be a good place to start loading.
What say you, Stealth Hunter owners?
Thanks!

you will love your stealth hunter...mine shoots like a laser....i reload 240gr.lswc in 44 and these work just fine in the stealth hunter,29-2,29-3,anaconda,etc.these are commonly available anywhere

What diameter bullets are you shooting?

That doesn't matter. Measure your own throats. The new guns are tighter and more consistent chamber to chamber, mine measured out to right around .428 while some older 29s measure out around .430+

I size to .429 and let 'er rip with a dose of H110. The 230-265gr range is the happy spot for me. If you need more power, get an X-frame. :)

I have several .44 Magnums. I have taken my deer with my Model 29 with 8 3/8" barrel:

My latest is the Model 629 Light Hunter from the Performance Center:

I use the an H&G #503 250 gr Keith SWC from a MiHec mould in both hollow point and solid point ahead of 24.0 grs of H110 sized at .430":

They shoot well under 1" at 25 yards and I can keep most of them on a playing card at 100 yards off a rest.

Got a 4 inch and 7.5 inch 500 for the bigger stuff:)
This 44 is for the deer and caribou.
