Sadly, they don't make a IWB for the BDG with the Crimson Trace Green Dot yet.

M&P SHIELD

It's a 9mm Shield with Crimson Trace Green Laser with Apex flat trigger kit Talon rubber grips. The factory trigger was smooth and a nice reset. But had a 7# pull, now with the full kit and using the S&W trigger it's supper smooth shorter reset 3.4# The Stealth Gear holster doesn't require a break in like my super tuck and is cooler in warm weather. Both are well built holsters.

Did you call them to see if they would make one?
How do you like the green vs the red?

They said they would look into producing one. As far as the Green vs the red, I have to say I haven't had the red. I like the green and from what I understand, the green is more visible in lighted situations. I love the grip activation! Having the button on the frame just was a waste for me. Just one more thing to do in a critical situation.

Changed my mind after all the reviews

Looks very similar to the Alien Gear that I use.
I started with Cross Breed super tuck pretty comfortable after you break it in but too hot for Florida summer and the leather would squeak. So I planned on Alien Gear 3 looked like a good value and read they were comfortable. I then watched all the comparison video's on YouTube.

Which is why I ended up with Stealth Gear even though they cost more.

How long have you had Alien Gear and do you wear it every day?

I'm looking at a Stealth Gear holster for my M&P9. Been using a N82tactical for my S&W 1911PD all day, every day. Best hot weather holster I've ever owned but with just one attachment point it does move a bit. N82tactical has started making holsters with two belt loops but none for M&P so far and no promised-by date yet.

Ordered a Crossbreed Supertuck. Very disappointed. What they call custom is my last name scribbled on the back? All the hardware against the skin is steel (rivets, screws and screw backers). Don't get that as stainless is available for these things. Would expect these will all quickly start rusting.

Stealth gear looks like it will do the job. Dhland1, did you use the holster in hot weather this year, was holster against skin or an undershirt and how was overall comfort?

Sisnce this initial post I have acquired an Onyx and a Flex for my shield and a flex for my XDM 3.8C .45
I have a mini on it's way for my 9C. Stealthgear has been the best holster option I've tried so far. I went the N82 pro route but the retention system failed me during a CCW class. If that training had been a real life scenario I would've been in big trouble.
JM Kustom Kydex has also turned out to be very good, their OWB V2 is very comfy and conceals surprisingly well.
I've been wearing the Onyx and the Flex with my Shield pretty regularly this entire year. They've held up well and are extremely comfortable. I'm hoping the mini works with the 9C, if it doesn't I will swap it for a Flex (my favorite)

Probably a very well made and stable holster, but a way to pricey for me......In my opinion there are others just as well made but not quite so expensive.

But if you enjoy it and like it that's really all that matters.....

I drop $100.00 on ammo without even blinking, $100 for an awesome holster?
I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for".
Most quality holsters out there are in the $65-100 range.
these work great for my body type (athletic) I don't even look elsewhere anymore

damn! that looks like a quality piece, I might have to order one of those for my Shield 45

not even in the same league as far as comfort...I've got both

Which are you saying is the more comfortable one? I was all ready to order the Stealthgear Mini, then I watched a comparison video on youtube, the Alien Gear seems to be the better choice, and it's much cheaper.........

Stealthgear all the way....I have the regular non mini's. The regular keeps things from "tugging" so much.

My "mini" just came in today for my 9C .
Ordered on the 9th so 21 days delivered this time, by far the fastest
I've received yet. Initial thoughts, my 9C doesn't feel much bigger in this than my Shield does in my Onyx. I'll have to wear it for a week or so to see how I really like it as compared to the Onyx.
I already have a JM Kustom Kydex OWB V2 for my 9C otherwise I would've ordered a Flex.
the JM Kuston Kydex OWB Holsters ride nice and tight against your body. Very comfortable and
conceal pretty well. Not as well as the Flex but very close.
The Flex is by far my favorite holster. If I don't love this one I will send it back for an Onyx.

Stealthgear. Alien Gear uses the same backing piece for all of their holsters. For a full size gun it's not a problem , with anything smaller, the clearance under your middle finger is insufficient and it is actually painful to draw. ot o 4:09 of this video and you will see the exact same issue I had trying to use this with my shield.
