Stop the Torture! UPDATE!

Nice one. I don't have one in that barrel length yet but have a 28 with a 4 inch I like a lot. Enjoy and congratulations.

I think that is the best looking configuration made. Blue, wood grips and 4".

I think any Smith .357 with a 4" barrel is pretty much perfect.
That is a beauty.

Very nice.

Until I joined the Forum I had no idea how rare the 4" M27-2 is. I have one that I bought in 1999. Paid $300 OTD for it. Thought I got a decent deal at the time. Guess that was an understatement.:D
Jim

have had one just like for a number of years now.

Very nice; very pretty and very practical. However I prefer a slightly longer barrel.

Cyrano I am glad you mentioned your long 27. I also have the 8 3/8 barrel 27-2, plus a pre-27 5 inch and they are both tack drivers. I'll probably take all three out one day and do a range report on them. That would be fun. The three amigos...eh!

YES, it arrived this afternoon. :D:D:D

I'm in heaven
And my heart beats
So that I can hardly speak
And I seem to find
The happiness I seek
When we're out together

Heaven
I'm in heaven
And the cares
That hung around me
Through the week
Seem to vanish
Like a gamblers
Lucky streak
When we're out together

And a big thanks to the forum member who passes this along to me.

MrTrolleyGuy: I've shot mine some, not nearly enoough, though. I haven't shot it at 100 yards, the range my Ruger Security Six is sighted in for. I wear the Ruger when out in the desert; may consider wearing the Smith.
