Stupidity often has dire consequences!

Remember that not so long ago it was considered very shocking when ads for condoms and related drug products began to appear on U. S. TV. Now they are seen all the time. And the products are now displayed on the shelves of every supermarket and drug store.

Awarded to David Thomas Presley

On or about 20 March, 2016, in the area of rural Monroe County Georgia while attempting to recreate a battle scene from Call Of Duty: Tacticool Mall Ninjas, Chief Colonel First Class Presley, with wreckless oblivion, and total ignorance for loss of his own life and limb(s), and those accompaning him, attempted to assault a lawn tractor he had previously packed with several pounds of Tannerite. Upon donning his assault vest, and grabbing his tricked out AR15, CCFC Presely first attempted to detonate the enemy mower from a distance of 125 feet. CCFC Presley realized that shooting greater than 50 feet was beyond his skillset in the actual world, and made the decision to close on the lawn mower, without the benefit of suppressing or covering fire normally used in COD:TMJ. CCFC Presely advanced toward the mower, without use of cover, to a position approximately 43 ft from the mowers position, where he once again brought his weapon to bear upon the mower. After several more volleys of fire, CCFC Presely was able to detonate the tannerite, and eliminate the mower. During the explosion, Presely found himself within the blast radius and was hit by a large chunk of the mower deck, which resulted in the loss of his leg below the knee. CFCC Preselys actions on above day are in keeping with the traditions and standards of the Darwin Award process, and he is hereby awarded the Distinguished Darwin Award.

How about, "hold my beer while I read the safety rules". I'll just list the ones he disregarded.

Treat all binary targets with respect. Misuse of binary targets could result in serious injuries or death
Place ½ and 1 lb targets down range at least 100 yards before shooting. Place 2 lb targets 200 yards down range before shooting. (2 pound targets are sold to professionals only)
Do not shoot targets larger than 1 pound unless it is required due to extreme long-range competition
Remember that the legal use of these targets is as a shot indicator only
As always, respect local noise ordinances and always use Tannerite® Brand Binary Rifle Targets as directed by the manufacturer
Never place these targets inside, on top of, or under any surface that could produce shrapnel or within another object
 
One problem with the Tannerite is neighboring building damage because of the explosion. I live about 1/2 mile from the county line and there is a range just at the edge of the adjoining county and the explosions are so bad sometimes it shakes my house. We are going to talk to the owner. Larry
