I was optimistic about these and ordered 3000 back a few months ago. I tested them by priming some empty cases and shooting them in one of my revolvers and didn’t have any issues. Since I’ve loaded 600 in 38 special and 32 S&W long and shot them in a variety of old and new revolvers. Each of my revolvers functions 100% with Winchester, Federal and CCI magnum and standard small pistol primers.
After shooting 600 I’m experiencing about one FTF per cylinder in each gun. Single action is less of an issue than double action due to a longer hammer drop but even then I’m having failures.
It appears the cup is very hard and hardly dents. Yesterday I shot 93 rounds of 38 special in a new model Python. Out of the 93 almost every cylinder, 6 rounds, had at least one that wouldn’t fire until the next strike. One round took 4 attempts to get it to fire. Even single action wouldn’t detonate it.
I’ve experienced the same in my Detective Special, K-38 and Model 15-3. I’m loading on a Dillon Square Deal I’ve used 35 years, a RCBS Rock Chucker I’ve used for 40 years and a Lee priming tool I’ve used 50 years and never had a primer fail until these. I know I’m seating them properly because they’re set flush in the case just as I’ve done for decades.
Looking at the primers it’s obvious what’s happening. Some are dented deep like with other brands and others hardly have more than a surface mark. These are ok for plinking but I certainly wouldn’t stake my life on them or use them in competition. I’m planning on using them up then will buy my regular brands if I need more. Fortunately I have plenty of primers but thought for the price I’d give them a try. Unfortunately I’m very disappointed.

Then somebody is seriously screwing up in the shipping department.
Unfortunately, the penalties for shipping an unmarked hazmat would still apply. They are liable whether it was intentional or accidental.
They might be a little more lenient if it was one mistake, but if it is determined that it isn't a one-time deal they could still be fined and loose their hazmat shipping account.
Shipping companies don't take this kind of stuff lightly - they can't afford to, because the DOT takes a very negative view of shipping reg violations.
Unless they have changed in the last couple of years, the shipping companies (UPS, FedEx, etc.) in addition to requiring that the shippers employees go through a bunch of training, and charging the shipper an annual fee to be certified to ship hazmats, they charge the shipper an extra fee for each hazmat package to cover their costs in extra handling, processing, training, etc. for handling hazmat packages. So if the seller/shipper advertises free hazmat, it means they are covering that fee for you out of their own pockets - because I can just about guarantee you the shipping company isn't waiving that fee.
All of that is in place to ensure compliance with DOT regs regarding transporting of hazardous materials on the public roadways. Staying compliant with regulations costs money.

Not a priming issue. I’ve reloaded probably over 40 years and never had a failed primer until now. Also since my first round failed with these primers I’ve checked every round to make certain they’re seated properly.
Anyway I’m manually seating with my RCBS Rock Chucker and my vintage Lee tool ( with the round primer tray). As a side note I don’t have any issues seating them.
All of the rounds up to this point have been for a variety of calibers and different revolvers. None of these revolvers have ever failed to ignite the other brands.

Mine arrived Thursday. No signature. No Hazmat labels I could see unless it was some discreet marking. The carton was sealed with tape marked “repacked” so maybe FedEx damaged the original box and repackaged them? IDK. The primer boxes were unscathed.
