I've got a very rough I-frame and given a wide variety of ammo my 2" gun consistently outshoots my 4" gun. The bore seems fine but the muzzle is rather pitted and beat up.
I'd feel pretty silly putting a 11 degree target crown on this so I'm leaning toward a 90 degree main and 45 degree smaller inside chamfer. I'd rather recreate the very round original profile but Brownells hasn't got a cutter for that so I'm not sure where else to look. Suggestions are welcome.

Just do the 90 and 45. It will look good, and shoot better. The rounded crown is hard to get concentric to the bore anyway. Most of the factory ones I've seen over the years were off from a little to a lot.

Fair enough. Do you suggest going with the Brownells cutter or is there another source that is better/cheaper/both?

a toolmaker or machinest can make a tool, but everyone likes a different shape. or, make it your self. I think, its no big thing

The Brownell's cutters are the best out there for the purpose. They are very high quality. Once you have the 90 and 45 cutter and handle, you can muzzle crown or chamfer chambers on any gun, just by getting the correct pilots. I prefer the steel pilots, they are smooth and won't damage a chamber or rifling. The brass pilots wear out too soon.

The shape is not a big thing. Any shape works, as long as it's truly concentric to the bore. There is no magic angle, like 11 degrees. The easiest one to get perfect is a 90 degree counterbore. With good pilots, they all work fine.
