Hey guys, taxes just got in and I think I'm about to purchase a NEW M&P 40FS. So many sites, different prices, so I'm kinda trying to find the best place with the best reputation for service and quality. Any suggestions as to which site is best to purchase from??? Or I live in Florida, so anyone that knows of a shop that sells em in the Tampa area, let me know.

Thanks guys.:D

I have best dealings, no hassles from BudsGunshop....it is online...

I buy all of my new stuff from Buds. The staff always seems happy to help when I need it. I use the retail store FWIW.

CDNN is offering the M&P with 2 maqgs and a (cheap) laser. There is a new M&P40 on Gunbroker right now that is bid up to $370. It has no safety, night sights and 2 mags. It'll sell in 1 day and 10 hours. I do not usually buy guns online. The only one I bought online was my AR15 and I got that from the Gun Gallery in Jacksonville. A lot depends upon your local dealer. Licensed dealers have access to prices I cannot see on the internet. Example, I bought a RIA 2011 rail gun. The best online price I saw was $600 at Centerfire Systems. My dealer sold it to me OTD for $620 and that included a $15 charge for using my mastercard. Bottom line is if you have a good LGS who has access to M&P pistols but doesn't stock them, he may be able to beat the CDNN price.

IMO there aren't many bargains at gunshows unless you do a FTF buy from another attendee.

Thanks so much for the info. I guess I'll talk to a few LGS's and see what they can do for me =]

Try shoot straight in Tampa. Not as good a deal as an online purchase, but have the M&P on sale sometimes.

I’ve bought from Buds & CDNN both. Excellent service from both and had my guns in 3 days.

Buds is my first choice because everything is on-line and ordering is a breeze. CDNN has that silly PDF you have to wade through and then call them, but they did have the M&P15T in stock when no one else had it.

Thanks, the gun is $482 on buds, and $509 at Shoot Straight, and if you don't have to pay dealer transfer costs, then it seems to be worth it. I'll give them a call and see if they have any sales going on. Thanks.

So this would be my first firearm purchase online, do you just call your local FFL and ask them what their transfer cost is?
Buds has on on-line list of transferring dealers in your area. You can pick your dealer at check-out, no muss, no fuss, no dealing with FFL faxes or letters. I called mine the first time to verify and check fees. Now I just shoot him an email letting him know I have a gun coming. Buds sends me tracking info so I can tell when it’s delivered.

Thanks for all the help guys...CDNN had the best price at $425 for M&P 40FS. It's ordered and on it's way to my local LGS.

Awesome customer service and it was quick and easy. I'll post some pix when I pick her up and bring er' home.

Yea that's where I was going to order from, till I saw CDNN's price. I contacted my local LGS right down the street and see if they could get a better price, but they couldnt. SO, I ordered the gun, $425 + $23 for S+H!! Bud's was $482 and then plus transfer fees.
