I don't see a thread on this so I'll start one. I'm gonna smoke spare ribs, chicken, and venison sausage on the wood smoker for a few hours, drown them in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and finish them off on an open grill. Bake beans will have chopped venison sausage, ground venison, bacon, onions, peppers, seasoning, more BBQ sauce, and will spend some time in the smoker. A large pot of buttered new potatoes with garlic salt and seasoning will top off the meal. All of the above will be drowned in tasty adult beverages. The game may be a bust but the food won't be.

A deck of cards and play some spades and who cares about the game!! :D

30# of wings, unlimited beer, a pot of jambalaya.
I think there is going to be party here, but of course, I'm
in Phoenix.

.:eek::eek: What. you didn't get some of those $4500.00 tickets to sit up in the nose bleed section to watch the game and cheer them on in person?

Is it still raining there?

Most years for the big game I get a bunch of crab legs and shrimp.
Gonna try this year.

Caje, thanks for the reminder. I had forgotten the slaw. I don't make it but I know someone who does. I'll pick some up on the way home from the Mardi Gras parade today.

Spiral cut ham, beer, mac n cheese, beer, corn pudding, beer, dark chocolate covered almonds sprinkled with sea salt, and last drink of the night some high end Bourbon.

not raining right now but still cloudy and cool.

I wouldn't pay $100 to be there in person, well maybe if Green Bay or the Steelers were playing.

Amen, Sister.
Packers are my favorite NFC team but the Steelers are my favorite team.
I was ticked four years ago.:(

Had three Shakespeare's pizzas shipped in from CoMO earlier this week, packed in dry ice and delivered by UPS. Picking up a pile of boneless wings with various sauces from the local Buffalo Wild Wings, making tailgate deli sandwiches, homemade Mexican restaurant salsa, various dips and spreads, and the obligatory selection of adult beverages. Don't have a dog in the fight as far as the game goes, since as a Rams fan I dislike the Seahawks, and as a decent person, I dislike Bill Belichick.

A recent poll said that a lot of people will be going vegetarian for the game. It's only once a year but I guess with the price of meats some people still can't afford the expense.

For me it's a frozen pizza and fresh batteries in the remote.I figure I'll be changing channels a lot on Sunday.

During the game tomorrow people will drink 140,000 gal of beer.
