I just scored what I consider to be a very clean Model 60 (no dash stampings on the crane or frame). Grips are 100%, very faint turn line, clean cylinder face...looks to only have been fired 3 times, no scratches or dings...everything is tight and the screws haven't seen a screw driver. It came with no box or papers, and I may have paid a little too much for it at $495. but I really like it. It's a birthday present for my girl of 12 years. I have an equally clean Model 36 no dash that she shoots very well and enjoys on the range making steel ring at longer distances so I wanted this for her. In stainless, it'll hold up better being carried. My 36 is more or less a personal collection gun that I shoot occasionally and carry now and then during the summer months. Would someone be so kind as to age the gun for me? I posted a pic of the serial number. I guessed at which forum to go in...it's post pinned barrel but has a hammer mounted firing pin. Thanks everyone...ps, it's an accurate little .38!
