Saw a story about it on Sunday nights news. They said the next Superbowl will be played in Houston. They gave a kind of 'map' showing what one Will expect to pay depending on where you're sitting. The ''low'' end price was about $800.00, the ''high end'' was about $5,000!

Anyone here pay these prices? I'd rather buy another gun, or car or something.

My sentiments exactly gents. A nice week long cruise somewhere at sea, several new guns, etc.

You gotta be kiddin'. Right?

First off, if I wanted to watch the Super Bowl (which really hasn't excited me for the past few years), which do you think I'd choose? Hmmmm. Let me think...

My front room?...where I could sit in my favorite chair, eat delicious snacks that are probably bad for me, watch all the action and re-plays up close with professional commentators analyzing play-by-play, being able to scratch wherever it itches, and watching all the halftime wardrobe malfunctions over and over??....OR...paying 800 bucks for a seat on the one-yard line in the nose-bleed section, while listening to some loud drunk behind me who thinks he's the self-proclaimed utmost football authority, and paying $25.00 for a cheap hot dog made out of pig lips and sphincter muscles?

Like I said...you gotta be kiddin'!

BOY! You certainly made that sound appealing!:eek:

$800........................

Is that a chair next to the hot dog stand ?? !!

One of the super suits in this last game in SF went for $175,000a seat!!

I guess Texas has crumby seats, old wallpaper and pigeon poop on the windows.....?

The Superbowl does not bring in as much money into town as the annual rodeo, but we will take it. Last time that the Superbowl was here, we had Janet Jackson and her "wardrobe malfunction". Such as it was, it was better than the game. Ya'll come down and bring your cash, credit cards and check book. Welcome one, welcome all!

You're all going to regret not being at the historic Super Bowl 51!

Packers 55 / Miami Dolphins 3. Aaron Rodgers passed for a record breaking 700 yards. The start of a new Green Bay dynasty!

But yea, I would rather sit in the comfort of my own home too.:D

If I saw correctly? I think that is the parking lot! Or way out reaches of the stadium.

Are you on any medication, or is that really your prediction?

Clemson demonstration....

When Clemson went to the Orange Bowl (1981?) everybody took piles of $2 bills to pay for everything, food, hotels, souvenirs in order to show how much money they were bringing to town. I guess that slowed down the thing about, "This is nice place to live until it's time for those dang 'bowl' games.
