I hope that Gator owner carefully checked the rosters to ensure there are no Cajuns on those teams.

I was at the Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis, watching Kid Rock play on the big stage with probably 40,000 people there. A guy was walking through the crowd with a 4 foot gator in his arms. I couldn't see if the jaws were taped or not, but he was just strolling through the crowd. People were packed in pretty close quarters, but he had about a 3 foot bubble around him. The bubble was the only reason I saw them. Several people looked like they were gonna have a serious medical event when he went by. If anybody needed emotional support it was them.

Folks that claim that snakes, lizards, spiders, gators and other exotic pets keep them for one reason, ATTENTION SEEKING. I'm on the fence about birds but I have met some really smart, entertaining and well trained birds.

I have also seen birds give obvious love and affection to their owners. Never saw a python do that. Unless you count the "hugging".

I always liked Trump's story about the snake. Why? Because it's true, and it speaks of SO VERY MANY delusional people in the world today. I just read of yet another toddler mauled to death by the family's new pet Pitbull. I guess we never learn. The Lord put all of Mankind over the animals, meaning we should have the wherewithal to distinguish between a harmful or non-harmful animal, let alone to take care of them and use them to help us. Florida has always creeped me out since they seem to lift gators above what the animal was intended to do. They are killers, period. If the are in the swamps/wildlife, live and let be. But if they stumble into habitation areas where Man lives, shoot 'em before they hurt someone. But, that's me, and Trump I guess.

We used to have a really neat event called the Madrid Blues Festival.
It took place at the Madrid , NM Ball park.
Madrid is an old Coal mining Town, became a Hippie Haven, morphed into an Art - Tourist town.
I’ve seen Gatemouth Brown, Taj Mahal and a bunch of other acts there.
It’s not too far from Santa Fe so lots of those folks would be there.
And they would bring their animals.
So after attending we were discussing - What was the most unusual varmint you saw?
Lots of dogs, a few cats, two Monkeys, etc.
I went with the I think Burmese python. Bout 4-5 feet long.
Wrapped around the dude’s neck!
How come he can in that huge snake but I can’t enter with my Machete?

Texas recently passed a law blocking anything but a actual trained and certified DOG to be a support animal. Emotional support animals of any kind, including dogs that are not certifiably trained are no longer allowed in restaurants, etc. Long overdue, IMO.

Unfortunately, the ADA does not require any specific training nor certification. If you claim your pocketbook poochie has been trained by you to be a service dog, it qualifies under the ADA. The ADA has never made any exception of any sort for "emotional" support animals.
