Suprise in S&W Box

Well, our president talked me into getting a second 15/22... So I've been looking around and all that is left around here are over priced non-threaded barrels. So I had been following GunBroker for the last couple weeks looking for a reasonable priced standard, threaded barrel model. I finally was able to snag one just a couple dollars more than I paid back in November for the first one at Cabelas. Score!

But when I opened the box I discovered that it was not the model that was shown in the description on GunBroker... It has all this Magpul ****,,, Magpul sights, Magpul Stock and Grip. Bummer...

As luck would have it, I happen to have a set of factory sights and stock for a 1522. Being the kind and generous person that I am, I'd be willing to swap with you for the MBUS and stock.

I was quite pleasantly surprised, the first thing I saw was the QD Sling Swivel on the side of it and thought - what the heck is that, I don't have that on my other one... Then saw the MBUS... Considering the MOEs are going for a couple hundred more than I paid for it, I think I made a pretty good buy. It did say stock picture in the description, but....

I was being a bit on the sarcastic side in my original post... Heck yeah I like it! But I wasn't going to be bidding on one for what they have been bringing on GB and I haven't even seen them ever on the shelves around here, couple performance models but not the MOE. Ideally I would have prefered an FDE, but I guess I shouldn't split hairs...

Ah... I think reading this it came across to many like you were really bummed about it. That "just a couple dollars more" turns out really to be not so true at the end of the day.

I'm hesitant to offer up good ammo, but to help you out of this dilemma , I'll trade you a brick of Remington Thunderbolts for your inferior 15-22. It's a good deal. I'll pay for all shipping.
