sw 4513 tsw shorty 45

hi all i just put a sw 4513 tsw on layaway at the shop i work on it is in a performance center case and come with 4 mags. school me on this gun i like it it has a 7 round mag and where can i get a couple more. i am paying 500.00 for it but it is in good shape. i carried a 4516 earlier in my police careeer as an off duty and liked it. it just looked cool.

so any coments the group has for me will be appreciated.

Just to give us a better idea...

Is it a 4513TSW or is it a Shorty 45?

Does it say "Performance Center" on the gun?

If it's a Shorty 45 I would be willing to give you, oh...$600 or so for it. A $100 profit for doing nothing!

That's a good price IMO. If you liked your 4516 for ODC, you'll love the 4513 with it's lighter alloy frame. Be sure to post some pictures when you get it.

ok i reread the box . it is a shorty 45 apparently maDE FOR LEW HORTON sorry bout the caps. the product code relates to a shorty 45 but also the box has 4513 on it. so i guess both nujmbers were used.
it takes 7 round mags and says performance center on the side just like the picture poosted above except with a black noval sight.
sooo where to i get a couple of spare mags?

It uses any of the black follower 7 round 457, 4516, 4513 mags

Don't be too quick to sell it at a profit. Once you shoot it, I'll wager you want to keep it!

if you knew me you would know that i dotn get rid of guns. i have several children who will be very well armed along with their spouses.
a check of smiths site shows that factory mags are still available so a couple more will be enroute.
another question hogue makes rubber grips for it or so their website says they might be an option i have them on myh sig p239 and my smith 3953 s and i love them. can anyone confirm this for me.
i may just carry this one or at leaset put it into the rotation. being a retired police i can carry.

Hogue also makes very nice wood grips that'll fit it.

The first eight rounds I put through my first Shorty went into a group that would hide completely behind a quarter. I sure can't do that everytime, but it will. It will also feed an empty case from the mag.

well gang i do not know how to take photos and put them on the computer. i will ask my son but you are just going to have to accept it on faith or not. i know what i have got. hey working in the shop has some bennies,cause its sure not pay. i also picked up a novak customized high power last year cause the manager who sets the prices didnt know what he had oh well i sure was not qabout to tell him. i may be crazy but not stupid
