After having been on back order with my usually well connected dealer for over 7 months, I finally got my 9mm Pro Series yesterday.

Fit an finsh are flawless, inside and out. Trigger is a touch heavy for target shooting, but nothing a tweek of the sear spring can't fix.

I have 4 extra Wilson magazines ordered from Midway, but they have been been on back order for over a month already. Seems to be a trend.

Haven't had a chance to get to the range yet, maybe next Friday. Hope it shoots as good as it looks.

BTW: Does anyone know what weight the recoil spring is? I want to get some light springs to go with my target ammo, but don't know what weight to work down from.

Joe,
I believe the recoil spring to be 12 pounds. That is what I bought for mine. But, I've been wrong before.

Congratulations!!! Very nice indeed. You will enjoy both looking at it as well as at the range.

I too need to get a few more magazines... I need to stop procrastinating and place the order...

That is a nice looking piece. Ieventually want to add one to my collection. Look forward to hearing how it is on the range.

Nice Pistol. I have been looking for one with fixed sights, I have yet to see one in person. How does it shoot?

Slams the tac down, and then some... :) This one and my Sig 226elite are fun shooters.. The only issue I had was the trigger... way to much slop... QA issue so it went back for rework.

I put 400 rounds through it... flawless fire... rounds come out nicely.

Thats a really nice looking pistol. I have a Springfield Loaded Target in 9mm that I sent back for a custom fitted bushing and some trigger work. 1911 in 9mm is some pretty terrific fun to shoot.

For anyone looking for those hard to find mags...
"Shooters Connection" has the Wilson #500-9 mags in stock :)

bn.

Very nice. I wonder why they're so hard to get.

Took the gun to the range last Friday and ran about 200 rounds of my reloads through it.

Once I got it sighted in I was able to shoot some pretty fair groups at 50 and 75 feet. I was keeping all shots on a 5" Shoot-N-C at 75'. Nothing to brag about, but about as good as I could do with the heavy trigger. I'll be tweeking the sear spring and checking the sear/hammer this afternoon.

Reliability was pretty good for a new gun, especially with my mid-range reloads (124 grain plated bullet at around 1000fps). I had one failure to feed and the slide didn't lock back twice. Last 60 rounds of the 200 had no problems. The trigger even started to feel better towards the end, but I think I was just getting used to it's 6 pound-ish pull.

Overall it seems to be a nice gun. Give me a few range sessions to get the trigger sorted out and I'll be back with some bragging targets.
