Does anyone had any accuracy problems with a sw40ve out on the box. I bought this 2 years ago and just took it to the range with several other brand 40sw pistols. I field stripped first and barrel clean and had the proper minimal lub where needed. Setting on a rest at 30' with sight dots centered it would shoot high then low then right high or low up to 18" spread. My other 40sw free standing are in a 3" pattern all shooting REM. UMC. 180gr. BP. I have had other semi-auto with a break in period but none this bad.

Any ideas or fixes?

WOW, no mention of the trigger pull.

I'm going to guess and say it's the trigger pull that is making
you shoot all over.

They are in no way a target pistol because of the trigger pull, both
length and poundage.

Either youre going to have to practice alot with it or do a trigger
job.

Alot of write up's on the web on how to's from replacing springs to removing springs.

Just polishing certain parts also helps alot.

If you don't feel comfortable doing a trigger job youre going to have to practice alot with it or maybe sell it.

Just my guess on why youre shooting all over the place.

IMO

You are pulling the gun down as you squeeze the trigger, or waiting for the recoil.

Keep your eyes on the front sight as you are squeezing the trigger. SQUEEZE don't yank! Eyes on the front sight!
