I am new here and have searched for this information. I tend to be a bit compulsive about accuracy, but do realize that my choice of handgun itself has a direct affect.

I have spent several hours on the indoor range firing nearly 500 rounds. I have been able to achieve a consistant 5 round group of 1 1/4" Max at 7 Yds. Each group seems to be between 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" left, and 1 1/2 to 2" low.

Are there adjustments that can be made to the sights to better center the groups ? Is it possible to have the factory fixed sights replaced with adjustable sights without affecting the overall lines.

I would like to find a solution that would also be in keeping with the low cost of the firearm.

Anyone have a suggestion ?

They probably designed the gun to shot dead on at 25 yards. So the low at 7 seems OK. But the group to the left seems way off for 7 yards. Did you shoot off a rest? Did you try it at 25 yards? The rear sight can be moved for windage but if it is off that far at 7 you should be able to see that the sight is not centered.

It is easy to drift the sights right or left.

No offense, but low and left is a classic error in trigger control. Try shooting left handed and see if they go low and right. Or get a highly skilled pistol shooter to try your gun.

I use Sigmas for trainers, and sometimes have to shoot a group for a relatively new shooter to convince them the gun is OK, even though they are shooting a foot low and left..
