SXS Shotguns

The SxS is iconic!

I picked up this Stoger Coach from a big box store - I think they priced it as though it wasn't the nickle plated version. Great under-the-couch gun.

I've had a thing for SXS's since I rescued my grandfather's Sterlingworth from a closet where it had been for over 20 years. Nothing is a classy as a quality SXS IMHO.

I also have my Grandfather's Sterlingworth. It took a bath in 6 feet of nastiness in Katrina, but it has been restored. I also have my other Grandfather's Model 12, similarly restored.

For a while many years ago I was into SxS's. Back then I saw lots of them in pawn shops. I accumulated them in .410, 28ga, 20ga, 16ga and 12 ga. This is an old photo from 2011. I still have all these taking up space in my safe.

I always wanted a 10ga hammer gun. I finally found one in 2021, an 1883 Parker. I've now gotten the brass shells and wads so I can load some blackpowder shells for it.
