Talking about falling in the proverbial barrel of [CENSORED] and coming up smelling like a rose. I had been wanting ever since I had to turn in my issued M&P .357c for another one. And like everyone else, no luck, and though I had a M&P .40 Shield, every place I tried to get a .357 barrel was sold out or on back-order "with no idea when...".
I happened to run into person that I had trained, and while chatting about firearms, I told him that I really wish I had mine. He said that he though he saw a box labled P357C in the arms room, and would check. Low and behold, it was a brand new never issued M&P .357c. He spoke with his supervisor and after a few days he called me, and asked if I had a FFL I liked to work with, which I do. And this past Monday my FFL called me saying he had something for me to pick up. OH HAPPY DAYS!
