What are your thoughts on talon Grips for 9mm Shield. I will be using it on my CC. Would you recommend them? Do they add any bulk? Leaning towards rubber but what about the granulate?

I have the rubber talons on my XDS. Adds no bulk and work great! I use the granulated on my competition guns. I wouldn't recommend it for cc.

I've installed rubber Talon Grips on all my M&P's (and Glocks).

Friends with rougher hands tend to choose the granulate version. But for the Shield, as it's a CC gun, you'll probably want the rubber instead.

I have the rubber ones on my Shield 9. They're easy to install, add no bulk, and provide all the grippiness I need. In other words, they're perfect for me. I definitely recommend them.

Best grips I have ever used. Have the rubberized on all my hand guns. You cannot go wrong with this product.

Need another little push to get 'em. I've got them on all my cc guns (Sig and Shield) and they're great. My full size pistols get VZ G-10s and putting them on a Beretta 92FS was like getting a new (thin) gun.

Get 'em....at $17 they are not budget busters.

All of my handguns wear Talon rubber grips, and of all them, the Shield benefits the most from the Talons. With the really slim grip, the Talons offer a really good purchase.

I have installed the Rubber talon grips on 4 pistols (3 glocks,1 Shield). Just remember, you will have no problems if you clean, heat install ,heat Done.

I have them on all of my handguns but on my shield I added a pachmyr sleeve. I have fairly big mitts and even with the Talon rubber on there it was too thin.
Now?....perfect
my shield and my XDM 3.8C .45 .... :D

My 9C is stippled (bought it like that used), but if it wasn't I'd have them on there (I have them on the
Xgrip I use with the full size mag)

I'm thinking about putting a set of Talon grips on my new PC Shield 9mm. (Haven't shot it yet). But I'm a little concerned that it may add to much to the size. I tried a pachmayr slip-on grip on my LC9S and didn't like the increased in size it made.
Do the Talon grips seem to add that much in size?

thanks, Dale

I have Talon rubber grips on my shield and 22 compact. IMO they do not add noticeable thickness to the grip.
I had Hogue grip panels on a 1911 and when I purchased my shield it just felt "slippery" in my hand. The Talons are perfect for me. I put them on my 22 compact for the same feel. ;)

For me, I find the Shield is easier to grip and shoot with the Talon rubber grips (also installed Talon rubber grips for the mag extensions). I really like the Shield better with Talon grips.

I just received my talon grips haven't installed yet but you can tell they don't add much bulk they are pretty thin.

Just put the Grips on and I can already tell they are an improvement. Thanks for convincing me to get them :)
