S&W Presentation Case?

['79 Magnum GT]

In 2013 I purchased an older M29-2 from 1964-65 with a S253505 Serial #. It came with this presentation case. I doubt it's an actual S&W but I don't know for sure. It's no where near as nice as my other official cases. Anyone have any ideas? It's wood but not like the good ones, there's like a wood grain wallpaper covering on it

Rick, you MAY have a valuable case there.
I believe there were some early model 57 cases that used that style coverings.
There are many box experts that will chime in soon
