Talon Grips

Well my fears came true, I can't carry with the granulate grips. I really liked the feel of the granulate in the hand but couldn't handle the roughness on my side. No worries though, ordered the rubber grips for my Shield and also the granulate for my M&P 40FS. Now I will have the best of both worlds.

I like the rubber Talon grips but still need to wear an undershirt or a holster that covers the grip as the grip irritates my skin if worn too long.

If I owned one I would put bonded ivory on it. Just a white polymer so the materials would match!

+1. I have the rubber Talon grips on my Shield 40 and now wear and undershirt (Under Armor). I just didn't feel comfortable on bare skin after 10 - 12 hours a day.

You know you can "tone down" the granulate dont ya? Make it less grippy to your taste. Just take a piece of 220grit sandpaper and go to work. You can custom the grippyness!

I use both and recommend rubber for CCW.

Well installed my new rubber Talon grips today on my Shield .40 and yes they are better for CCW, yeah I know, you all told me so.. but I really like both. I will be ordering the granulate for my M&P 40 FS.
