Target Hammers, Target Triggers . . .

I can attest to my March 2018 Model 27 having target trigger and hammer; and most of the N-frames Classics having them too.
I might be wrong, but I think most of the stainless models are standard hammer and smooth trigger.

I don't think any of the newer MIM target hammers or triggers are quite as wide as the target hammers and triggers of the good old days. But I could be wrong.
This is my 2007 model 27-8 with both target hammer and target trigger.

My newer model N frames all have wider more than narrow triggers and hammers. One of the reasons I bought them. (325s,327s,329s)

It makes all the difference for me in a buying decision as I really really like the wide controls. Newer models or old. Just a personal preference.

Those are really beautiful stocks!!

Original target hammers and triggers were .500 on the .44 Magnums. They then reduced the triggers to .400. Original triggers on the model 27s were .265. The Texas Ranger guns introduced us to the .312 smooth triggers, which are my favorite.

That's what I was wondering when I saw the picture above your post. Those don't seem to widen.
