It took 7yrs to diagnose me with crohns and have had 2 surgeries to remove a total of 12 feet of intestine and now I am on remicade. I feel better now except for the price of the drug...$7000 per infusion every 2 months leaves a sour note in my stomach. The good side is im better and actually look forward to reloading again. Now that the docs know what you have, life will be much more pleasant. Get well.

Hope you're feeling better soon. About 8 years ago I thought I was having flu like symptoms and didn't bother with the doctor. 4 days later, I was being rushed to the ER to find out I had severe case of diverticulitis and some of the abscesses had burst and I was going toxic.

For the next couple years after that, it took several surgeries and 3 different colostomy bags to get it all under control.

I agree with everyone else...get diet under control, rest and do what the doctors tell you.

I feel pretty lucky I got in there before complications. They seem to think it hasn't gone abscess or bled. I never did get a fever so that's a good sign I hope. Sounds terrible what you went through. You guys are all pretty smart and experienced I knew if I posted this I'd get some good feedback. It is much appreciated. It was and is pretty darned scary how stuff can go south so fast.

My cousin had crohns...simply awful. Glad you are getting back to it that's a real gift.

I have a friend who was constantly in the hospital due to Crohn's for many years. He seems to be doing better these days, but I don't know how much of his intestinal tract is left. It's good just to see him not in the hospital.

Just awful beyond words sir. Mashed taters and applesauce for awhile and then a more careful selection for sure.

My girlfriend has already put in a request for some light target loads for the .45 and my 66...getting out the trail boss.

Nice to hear of another fan of Trail Boss.
Just started reloading a year ago during the height of powder scarcity.
Trail Boss was the only powder I could find when I had all my gear ready.
So I got some and started loading 38's.
I've branched out to other calibers (found more powder too) but I still enjoy the light target loads with Trail Boss. My wife likes them too.
