Just installed my spring kit and wow what a difference ! I haven't sanded or polished anything yet, and there is definitely a big improvement. I plan on polishing up some of the metal pieces when I have more time. Just wanted to say thanks for the recommendation, and to encourage those that haven't upgraded their springs to do so. I went with the JP 3.5 pound springs and love them ! Has to be the best possible upgrade for the $10
I also put on the Hogue grip and love that too.

do you have a range report? wondering is the lighter spring might case FTF or FTE?

A tiny bit of a fine polishing compound on the seer, and a little working of the trigger will smooth it out a lot too. Don't overdo it.

It's been reported a number of times on this forum that there has been no FTF or FTE problems with the JP springs. My personal experience is zero problems after putting in the springs.

a set screw under the grip screw will take up most of the pretravel for a little better trigger also

Sorry no range report - been swamped with other things with no fun time to hit the range. However, I never had and FTF or FTE problems with stock springs. So far 0 problems from my rifle.

Went from FTF every once in a while to zero. Shooting CCI mini mags only, to not change two things at once. The trigger is pleasant now, not a horrible grinding thing.
