While setting up my new LNL AP, I knocked the AC adapter for my Chargemaster 1500 dispenser/scale off my bench and shattered the plastic backshell. I sent RCBS an email asking how I could order a replacement. They responded within a couple of hours to inform me they had one on the way at no charge! I fully intended to buy a new one since it was my fault it broke. Sure is nice to spend my money with a company that will help you out with no questions asked. Wish all businesses had that kind of customer support after the sale!

I'm glad that you got your part replaced. but it never ceases to amaze my at how people praise RCBS for their customer service when they are charging you three times what it is worth to begin with. They can well afford to replace broken suff.

I have no problem with RCBS. They have been good to me for 40 years and I don't remember what I paid for their equipment.

While I tend to agree with you that most of the reloading companies charge too much for most of their products, it takes a bit of the sting out knowing you will not get the run around if you need parts or other assistance.

Over the years, I have contacted RCBS to replace items lost in moves. On each occasion, I clearly explained the fault was mine and asked for the price shipped to replace the part. Every time, RCBS responded and replaced the parts for free. Great company.

My complete set up is RCBS. I'm a single stage guy and the RS5 has served me well for years. No complaints at all. Even in regard to cost. You get what you pay for and the RCBS components are quality.

The responses here mirror my experience with RCBS. Good company with great people. I have a Rockchucker press my parents got for me in 1972. It is still going strong and has paid for itself many, many times over.

Over the years I have found that manufacturers in the shooting sports are very supportive (within reason) of persons that purchase their products.

I have similar great experiences with RCBS-so I'm willing to pay a little more for their products.

Lyman is a little less expensive for many things but I have had mixed experiences with them. I pick up misc used reloading equipment from time to time and the last time I sent a reloading scale to Lyman for repair, I think they charged me about $30 to repair it. I am more reluctant to by used Lyman products if they're not in perfect condition since.

Not so happy

I placed an order with RCBS for replacement parts: 1 bag (50 pcs) small decapping pins, 1 bag (50 pcs) large decapping pins, 1 bag (25 pcs) decapping pins with head, replacement decapping stem for 223 Rem sizer X-die.

Four parts were shipped as THREE separate orders, each with a $14 shipping charge. The good news is I have a life time supply of decapping pins for all my dies. A decapping pin never breaks at 1:20 PM when the reloading stores are open.

RCBS #1

Years ago I had a minor problem with a set of RCBS dies. I contacted them, they said to send back the dies and about a week later, the dies were returned, fixed and at no charge.

RCBS is a first-rate company.
