Just a short line to thank all the responses and guidance from all the real helpful people out there.
This forum has to have the most informative and skilled people, that are willing to offer advice for just about any question or comment.
Remember the Dumbest Question, is the one you don't ask.
Again, I thank you all for answering anything anyone asks.
This forum is filled with many years of experience, and help,
whether it pertains to purchasing firearms, fixing, maintenance,
or just a general question.
So if you are new or, been here a while, the members are here
to help.

I come here because when I read about guys getting put into their place by their wives, manipulated by their kids, have their heart stolen by their loyal companions (dogs, not mistresses) and out smarted by their prey on a neutral playing field makes me feel better about life. Or at least I can take comfort that I'm not the only one getting run through the mill on a daily basis.

It's a place where I can proudly display a picture of a firearm, and not be thought of as some kind of potential homicidal maniac.

At the S&W forum.

I learned how to levitate at home which I am doing at this very moment.

yes i too would like to thank the forum and its members for making me realize how badly i need all these revolvers, and how badly i need ALL the other ones, as well.
seriously though from purchase to sale or from targets to reloading; most of what i know comes off this screen, the rest comes from "real life old guys" in my club. and my dad -cant forget dad

Lots of good guys here, and many centuries of total personal experience. Unlike in some other forums, there's not a lot of people going off half-cocked with wild opinions. When this does happen, others balance it out with more thoughtful views.

I also like that the moderators arent too heavy handed. I dislike forums where it seems that the moderators are anxious to lock down a thread at the drop of a hat - I don't know if theyre too p.c. or just like the power trip of being able to do so. I havent found that here.
