Does anyone have a Magpul AFG2? I ordered one from magpul, midway was on backorder. I then read a small note on the bottom of my conformation email from magpul saying items may be on backorder because they dont update thier site stock numbers. I then looked at brownells and midway (again) and they are also on backorder. Just wondering is anyone actually has one and do you like it?

AFG2 is real. Got one on my Bushmaster. It is almost an inch shorter, doesn't have the side panels and has a different angled back. Ordered mine from Primary Arms for $33 with free shipping.

thanks for the pic phil. Ive been looking through the picture thread but usually people have so much stuff on their rail its hard to see a difference. I'm glad I got the afg2 and not the afg1 as i plan on being one of those people with attachments galore

That's not backwards that is the way it is supposed to be mounted.

Phil, how is it dealing with Primary Arms? I have never dealt with them, I like free shipping, and am willing to give them a shot.

phil you have your afg2 about in the same place where I would like to place mine does it hinder the lower when you break it over?

I'm not Phil - and I haven't bought an AFG2 from Primary Arms - but Marshall over at Primary Arms is a class act. He is lightning fast with the shipping. I've ordered several optics from them, and I am quite satisfied with their service.

DSG Arms has them too. $34.95. I got mine from them and they were excellent to deal with.

Primary Arms is a solid website/seller. No hesitation about buying from there again.

Tried buying an AFG2 from an outfit called NORCO Inc., (on Amazon; it was the cheapest) and they twice sent me an AFG1. Gave up on them, kept the AFG1 and the resulting discount for error. They've got a lot of nicely priced gun stuff, but whoever is working the warehouse needs help.

Primary Arms is great to do business with. They have earned a reputation for excellent customer service. If they show something for sale they have always had it ready to ship, and have always shipped the same day (even once on a Saturday order I placed:)). Primary Arms is tops among the small operators IMO.

Opens about 45 degrees with the rear pin removed. Here are some better pics of the AFG2 than the one last night. The bottom pic is the AFG for comparison.

AFG2

I have the AFG2 on my 15-22 mounted like Phil's. It opens just fine. Picked mine up at a LGS for $22.99
