The annual "check-up" call. Really?

A couple of weeks ago I was scheduled for my annual Medicare physical. I got the usual check-in early text asking for the same info that I have used for years. Then they asked if I wanted to do my physical remotely. I politely declined. How do you do a physical over the phone??

I have AARP United Healthcare and have never gotten a call about an "in home" visit.
I do a once a year visit at the VA to see my VA doctor. I have to do that so I can keep getting prescriptions from the VA.

She has never asked me about guns. They do ask if I have been vaccinated for Covid, which I haven't done and never will.

I have an appt with my cardiologist tomorrow.Haven't been in 2 yrs.Gonna get yelled at. She scares me
I have an ex,a daughter, two sisters,a mom and a daughter in law. It's not fair!!

I went to my doctor a couple few weeks ago. It's only once a year now since I'm now on medicare. I did fine, weight is now below 190, blood pressure good, blood is still red, and no drugs in my system that shouldn't be there. I usually stay away from anything that might show up in the drug scan for about 6 weeks before the appt., just in case. I don't know if something can get in my system just from being in the same room, but I don't take chances. But, they sent me a $20 debit card for going to the doctor. I don't want some old over-the-hill retired nurse coming to my house for some in-home wellness visit. It's all about the money. I wonder how much they charge Medicare for in-home visits? Or a back brace that I won't wear. Now, give me a handicap thing to hang from my mirror for prime parking and we'll talk!
