This $7 chile verde burrito is the best I've had around here. And there's a mexican place on every corner in Sacramento. I eat it in about three shifts. I don't pig out anymore. I get them once in a while at a place called Xochimilco's.

wow..... I want to eat that now, and at 7 bucks they include a revolver! that is amazing :D

Wyatt: Have you tried Cisco's Taqueria in Marysville? It was our other hangout for the 4 years we were in central Calif. The al Pastor Burrito was spicy! I grew up in SoCal (born in east L.A.) and it was almost too spicy for me.

No, but I get up there once in a while. I'll remember the name because my long gone dog was named that. I like stuff so hot it unfortunately feels like, well, let's just say I expect to see roofing nails in the toilet afterwards. But this burrito wasn't souped up to that degree.

your dog was named Taqueria?

Does anyone in Calif. speak english? Just wondering.

I bet you could crush a few slices of jalapeno when you're done and make a pretty effective bore solvent.

That looks a little like the Wet Burrito from El Rio Verde here in Tulsa. Any meat you want, mine is always al Pastor, and no lettuce. Great stuff. I'm pretty sure they would frown on me taking out my 640-1 for a pic, though. ;)

You mentioned a restaurant called Xochimilco. As you may know, that was also an Aztec city. And a burrito like that with jalapenos in it is about as dangerous to me as a regiment of Jaguar or Eagle society warriors.

If anyone else here has asthma, approach jalapeno peppers with extreme caution, and have your albuterol inhaler ready.
I almost had to go to the hospital after some dumb cook used grease containing jalapeno residue to cook my chicken in, although I'd told the restaurant manager that I'm very allergic to them and to be sure that none were in my food.

I quit eating at one Mexican restaurant chain after they changed the menu to include jalapenos in almost every dish they offered. I frankly don't trust most restaurant personnel to understand food allergies.
