Most of us can look back and think about a car we wished we still had. Mine was a 66 Chevy II Super Sport. 327 engine, 375 HP, 4 Speed, PosiTraction, Red on Red. What a car!

I wish my dad didnt sell my mom's 67 Barracuda. Too bad I was only 8yrs old,I would have bought it.

I miss my 1970 T/A Challenger but it would have been a problem if I wanted to drive it a lot. It attracted too much of the wrong kind of attention everywhere it went.

Maybe I'll figure out a good modern replacement for it one day. (not the new Challenger)

A 1969 Camaro A28, 302 V8, cowl induction. Really enjoyed the car and regretted the sale the minute the guy drove away with it.

Well for starters... 58 Fury, 59 Impala 348 tripower 4 speed, 61 Impala 348 tripower 4 speed, 60, 63, and 64 Corvettes and a 64 Dodge 426. If we only knew.

Sir, the two I miss most are my old '77 Z28 and '67 Chevelle.

The Z28 was the most fun--350, four-barrel, four speed, 3:73 posi, dual exhaust, surprisingly good handling, and an 8-track, all factory. Being a Minnesota car, the body was thoroughly eaten up with rust, but man, would that thing go.

The Chevelle wasn't quite the "go fast" car that the Z was--it was a Malibu (not SS), geared too tall, and handled like a wheelbarrow in turns. Still, the body was solid, and I had the 327's long block rebuilt with various speed bits and added an Edelbrock intake and Holley carb. It wasn't much off the line, but it really came alive when you stomped on it at 30 to 40 mph. Great highway car.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

Black '63 Corvette convertible with factory removable hardtop, '67 435 horsepower 427 cubic inch big-block, 5 miles per gallon. Loved it !!!

I'm beginning to see a pattern. Fast cars and Smith & Wessons. Great combo.

1970 Super Bee with the 426 Hemi.

If I only knew then what I know now.

Bought it in 1977 for $975.00 and sold it in 1980 to pay tuition, got $900.00 cash for it. I saw one on the internet a few weeks ago going for 100K.

1995 GT Mustang, last year for the 5.0 five speed manual. Canary Yellow, and boy would she fly. That was one car that would really get the juices going. Yes, it attracted alot of wanted and unwanted attention. Didn't like to drive it faster that 120mph though, got a little squirrley.

For me its a 1963 Mercury Comet with a screaming 170cid 6 banger in it. Bought it wrecked for $30. Mostly just body damage. Combed the junk yards until I found all the parts. Had an Earl Schibe $29.95 paint job put on it. Midnight Blue.
I was 16 years old, it was my first car. Lots of good memories there.

66 Chevelle
Best handling car ever made.
I managed to lift both wheels on the passenger side off the ground about a foot in front of girlfriends house while her and her mother was on the porch watching me.(Her mom didn't know her daughter was seeing me at the time)
I could make that car dance.

OMG. My list is unbelievable. I spent every weekend night on Woodward Ave when I was a kid, and was nuts about fast cars. If only I knew then what I know now.

- various 67, 68, and 69 Camaros including an RS/SS, and a unusual 68 327 4 speed ragtop with a fold down rear seat that I bought from a little old lady for $600.
- several 67, 68, and 69 Firebirds (326 & 400s)
- two 62 Vettes (both 327 feulies)
- 70 Hemi Superbird
- 73 455SD Trans AM
- 83 Porshe 928S

It makes me sick when I think of it. Every one of these cars was bought and went for less than $4000 except the 928 and one of the Vettes.

If I could have only one back to enjoy (disregarding collector value)?

Without hesitation, the 455 Super Duty T/A. That car was bad to the bone and ran great with very little work. The sheet metal (the 73s and 74s used imported steel that tended to rust badly) could be easily replaced.

Thanks for ruining my night.

Don't laugh. In the late 70s a Cosworth Vega was high on my wish list. At that time, it was one of the very few cars that generated more than one horsepower per cubic inch. I never could find one in my price range. The guys that owned one seemed to love them.

67 Mercury Comet Caliente. Bench seat, Marauder blue (turquiose metallic) With 2 tone interior. Originally from Georgia with no rust. The best part was the 390 CID under the hood. I sure miss her!
