The Flag

I display this one on occasion. First one to identify it and its history wins...bragging rights.

Dave_n, just to drift a wee bit...I use my buckeye, hillbilly and English accents as hats....I don them when I need them. They all serve me well.

Bob's your uncle and Fannie's your aunt.

Okay guys, y'all showing off those historic flags shows me that I know nothing... need to buy another history book now.
 
Flags are what they are.

I still feel obliged to what I swore more than 40 years ago. And I still get some dust in my eyes when I see it being hoisted. Go figure.

For eight years I flew the American flag only on special days - now it flies every day alongside the Texas and POW flags. They are under light, so they come down only in bad weather. I have a confederate flag, but it hangs on a wall in my reloading room. I get all mine at the VFW, so naturally they're USA made.
